Trenton Airport (6J6)  is also known as Edgefield County Airport.  The land was originally donated by the Yonce family and many of us refer to the airport as Yonce Field.  The Yonce family is still well represented in our community and is in the very highest regard amongst our members. Trenton and Edgefield County have been well served by the remarkable generosity of the Yonce family.  Today, Yonce Field serves as a business and recreational asset to our community.

While business use is limited due to unpaved runways, and a lack of county funding, the airport has become an airpark and is one of the most highly utilized recreational facilities in Edgefield County, and serves hundreds of people from Edgefield and afar. The airport is also home base for most of the members of Trenton Flyers Club which represents persons engaged in aviation.

The airport manager is Johnny Anderson.

Presently, no FBO operator exists on the field (gas, service, maintenance, pay phone, etc).
