Received the following from Randy Berry:

EAA members, fellow pilots, and friends,

I would like to invite you to our EAA Chapter 1467 Spring Fly-in on Saturday, April 9th and Sunday, April 10th at Gaston Airport (2SC8) from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Our “grass roots” fly-in will be very informal, laid back and primarily for pilots, EAA members, and friends. Although no one will be turned away, the general public is not being invited.

Just fly in, meet people, socialize, eat some lunch, and fly out when the mood strikes you. Traffic advisories will be made on 122.9. A lunch of hamburgers and hotdogs with trimmings, chips, tea, and soft drinks will be served from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm on a donation basis. For more information, click the following EAA calendar link: http://eaa.org/calendar/eventdetail.aspx?id=9704

Also, you may visit our website at www.eaa1467.org for further chapter information and updates.

See airport information at http://airnav.com/airport/2SC8

In case of foul weather, we’ll postpone the fly-in until the following weekend, April 16-17. Updates will be posted at our chapter website and on the main EAA calendar located at the link above several days prior to the event.

Randy Berry,
President & Webmaster,
EAA Chapter 1467
